Former SEC Chairman Christopher Cox will join law firm Bingham McCutchen in September. The National Law Journal reports today that Cox will join Bingham as a partner in the firm’s Orange County office in its corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities practice.
Cox was Chairman of the SEC from 2005 through early 2009. Prior to joining the SEC, Cox served as a Republican Congressman for 17 years.
