			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<blockquote><p>Two top legal advisers at Wall Street&#8217;s self-watchdog, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, are departing, according to people familiar with the matter.</p>
<p>Marc Menchel, FINRA&#8217;s general counsel for regulation and executive vice president, will be leaving FINRA after roughly a decade, sources confirmed on Monday. He was among the group&#8217;s top-paid executives in 2010 and a frequent speaker about regulatory and compliance issues at industry conferences&#8230;. FINRA&#8217;s general counsel, T. Grant Callery, also is retiring, the sources said. Callery was not immediately available for comment.</p></blockquote>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Daniel A. Nathan has joined law firm Morrison &amp; Foerster as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office. The firm announced yesterday that Nathan has joined its Securities Litigation, Enforcement and White-Collar Defense Group.</p>
<p>Nathan is the former Vice President and Regional Enforcement Director for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Previously, Nathan served for 12 years at the SEC as Assistant Director in the Division of Enforcement. He also served for nine years at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as Deputy Director of Enforcement.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Michael Volkov has joined law firm LeClairRyan as a shareholder in the firm&#8217;s Litigation Department.  Volkov will be in the firm&#8217;s Alexandria, Va. and Washington, D.C. offices.</p>
<p>Volkov joins LeClairRyan from Mayer Brown LLP. Previously, Volkov served for 17 years as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office for the District of Columbia, where he conducted over 75 jury trials. Volkov also served on the Senate and House Judiciary Committees as the chief crime and terrorism counsel for the respective committee, as a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legislative Affairs of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and as a trial attorney in the DOJ&#8217;s Antitrust Division.</p>
