Securities Docket contains a number of features that you may not have noticed yet, but which you may find useful:
1. RSS Feeds: The main RSS feed that provides updates on every new Securities Docket article can be found in the upper right hand corner of the page. RSS feeds for each category of article that you find on Securities Docket (Criminal, Global, etc.) can be found on the RSS Feeds page.
2. Email alerts: Right below the RSS feed icon is a link where readers can sign up to receive one email each day that contains excerpts from and links to every new Securities Docket article (or click here to sign up right now).
3. Ticker Symbol Market Updates: Securities Docket uses technology from SaneBull to receive market updates on specific stocks named in articles. For example, a story about Fannie Mae (FNM) may include a ticker symbol like the one in this sentence. If you place your mouse over the ticker symbol (try it on the FNM symbol/link above), live updates on Fannie Mae stock price and volume, and a chart of its price for the day, will appear. Once the update has opened, you can also click “Switch” next to the ticker symbol to check any symbol of your choosing.
4. Sphere Related Content: Securities Docket uses technology from Sphere to identify content that is related to the Securities Docket article you are reading. At the bottom of the article, click on the “Sphere: Related Content” link and you will quickly see articles from leading publications and blogs that are on the same subject matter.
There is a lot more already on the site and much more to come, but please check out these features and see if any of them are of interest to you!
