Securities Docket has just one question for all of you Montanans, North Dakotans, and Wyomingans — where are you? Playing around with Google Analytics for this publication, we can see that in the first 17 days of October 2008, we have had visitors from no fewer than 64 different countries. These include the predictable countries, like the UK, Canada, and Australia, but also countries such as Turkey, Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, Romania, Oman, and the island nation of Fiji.
The vast majority of readers are from the US, and we have had over 1,000 visits from New Yorkers alone this month. But oddly enough, Securities Docket has not a single visitor this month from Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming. So if you know of any securities litigators in those states, shoot them an email (or maybe a postcard?) and let them know what they’re missing out on!
