Three important items from the long weekend that may have gotten overlooked and merit a quick update:
- Securities Docket introduced its new BlackBook industry directory. The post announcing the new BlackBook is here and the link to the directory can also be found at the top of every page. Please contact us to add your company to the BlackBook or to obtain a Featured Listing.
- In this post on November 28, 2008, we reported that more than 70% of the Top 50 law firms in the NLJ 250 have failed to secure the obvious user name for their firm on Twitter. To paraphrase that post, even if you don’t understand what Twitter is, please just trust us and take 30 seconds to register your law firm’s name (click here — its free, by the way) before someone else does and makes life complicated for your firm.
- Securities Docket is now available in 11 additional languages via Google Translate. To translate any page on Securities Docket, click on the appropriate flag at the top of the right-hand column of every page. The post announcing the new translation service is here.
