Investigation Nation: The Pequot Insider Trading Case That Won’t End

By Securities Docket on December 14, 2008, 1:52 pm

Some trades by Pequot Capital Management in July 2001 have led to perhaps the most investigated, re-investigated, and re-re-investigated matter in SEC history.  From an initial SEC insider trading investigation in 2003, a series of related, follow-on investigations has followed that has grown to be truly beyond belief and which continues to this day.

I track the surreal, excruciating details of this never-ending matter in this post (click here) on my Enforcement Action blog over at Compliance Week.
