Benito Romano, Aaron Marcu and Adam Siegel are joining UK law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and will launch a U.S. litigation practice for the firm in New York, according to the Times Online. Romano, Marcu and Siegel are all former federal prosecutors.

Romano (pictured) was formerly the US Attorney for the SDNY and will join Freshfields at the end of this month from Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Marcu and Siegel, previously partners at Covington & Burling, will also join Freshfields as partners. All three will focus on advising large companies facing SEC investigations and conducting internal corporate investigations to ensure that clients are complying with anti-corruption laws.
