Former federal prosecutor Robert Khuzami is the leading candidate to succeed Linda Thomsen as the next Director of Enforcement at the SEC, Bloomberg reports. Khuzami spent 11 years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the SDNY, where he headed the white-collar crime unit, before joining Deutsche Bank in 2002.
Bloomberg reports that Khuzami may meet with senior SEC officials as soon as next week. He is currently Deutsche Bank’s New York-based general counsel for the Americas.
