Under a stipulation filed Thursday in the Chapter 11 proceeding against Dreier LLP, the firm must vacate its mid-town Manhattan offices by March 4. The stipulation does permit a skeleton staff to wind up the affairs of the now-bankrupt Dreier LLP, the NY Law Journal reports.
Under the stipulation, If the offices are not vacated by the agreed-upon date, the landlord may “with the assistance of the United States Marshal” evict “all persons located within said premises.” As previously discussed here, the firm’s sole equity partner, Marc S. Dreier, who is being prosecuted criminally for an alleged $400 million fraud, remains under (pent)house arrest at his Manhattan apartment.
