June 10 Webcast – CDO Litigation Reaching Crucial Stage

By Securities Docket on June 1, 2009, 5:08 pm

Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs) have been the focus of much attention and ire in the wake of the credit crisis. But litigation over these structured financial products has been largely overshadowed by more high profile actions, such as subprime class actions and Ponzi scheme litigation. That could change in the coming months as a number of courts decide motions to dismiss that currently are pending in several CDO cases. Those decisions have the potential to invite additional CDO lawsuits or stop such suits in their tracks.

Please join Jay Tambe and James Goldfarb of Jones Day and Jeff Nielsen and Gene Deetz of Navigant Consulting at 2 pm on June 10 for a free, timely webcast focusing on CDOs, the current lawsuits, and the litigation risks and issues facing CDO investors and the professionals that create, market, manage, and administer CDOs. These practitioners regularly represent parties in CDO litigation and advise on economic and legal issues associated with CDO transactions.
