Meredith Kotler Joins Cleary Gottlieb in New York

Meredith E. Kotler has joined law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as a partner in the firm’s New York office.  The firm announced yesterday that Kotler has joined its litigation and arbitration practice, where she will advise on commercial, securities and corporate governance litigation, as well as securities enforcement and appellate matters.

From 1998 to 2004, Ms. Kotler served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York. During the last year and a half of her tenure, she served as Deputy Chief Appellate Attorney in the Civil Division.  Kotler joins Cleary Gottlieb from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in New York, where she was a partner.
