Douglas Thompson Joins Bryan Cave in Santa Monica

Douglas Thompson has joined law firm Bryan Cave as a partner in its Santa Monica office. The firm announced last week that Thompson has joined its Commercial Litigation, Class & Derivative Actions and Financial Institutions Client Service Groups.

Previously, Thompson was the Managing Director and General Counsel, Litigation of Countrywide Financial Corporation, where he headed the litigation department and managed the company’s nationwide portfolio of litigation matters. After Bank of America’s acquisition of Countrywide, Thompson managed its legacy Countrywide consumer finance class action and securities class action litigation matters.
