George Schieren has joined law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP as a partner in its New York office. The firm announced today that Schieren has joined its securities litigation and regulatory enforcement practice. Schieren joins Gibson Dunn from Clifford Chance.
Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Schieren served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, and also as Chief of Branch Enforcement and Assistant Regional Administrator of the New York Regional Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
