Matthew Friedrich Joins Boies, Schiller & Flexner in Washington, DC

Matthew W. Friedrich has joined law firm Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP as a partner in its Washington, DC office. The firm announced on Wednesday that Friedrich will focus on internal investigations, white collar matters, and litigation.

Friedrich joins BS&F following thirteen years at the Department of Justice, where he most recently served as the acting Assistant Attorney General of the Criminal Division.  Previously, Friedrich served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey, and as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in the Eastern District of Texas and in the Eastern District of Virginia. He also was a member of the Enron Task Force.
