Former WorldCom CFO Scott Sullivan is now out of prison and living in Boca Raton after serving four years of a five-year prison sentence for his role in the company’s massive accounting fraud.
The Palm Beach Post reports that Sullivan served the bulk of his sentence at a medium-security federal corrections facility in Jesup, Ga., and was permitted in January 2009 to serve the last part of his sentence under “home confinement.” He is now is on supervised release for three years.
Once facing a 25-year sentence, Sullivan became the star witness at the trial of Bernie Ebbers. Ebbers was convicted and is in prison at the Federal Correctional Institution in Oakdale, La. Ebbers is set for release in 2028.
