Appeals Court Denies Stanford Motion to Remove Judge

stanfordAllen Stanford’s motion to remove the judge overseeing his case has been denied.  CNBC reports that a federal appeals court denied Stanford’s petiton to remove U.S. District Judge David Hittner from his criminal case due to “unexplained hostility” by Hittner.  Stanford filed the motion after Hittner denied Stanford’s motion to be moved to a jail closer to Houston, and blocked Stanford’s plans to change attorneys.
