This morning, officers from the Stuttgart prosecutor raided the headquarters of Porsche and seized documents in an insider trading investigation, the company disclosed. The Die Welt daily reported that the probe focuses on former executives including Wendelin Wiedeking, who resigned as CEO last month. Porsche stated that “the prosecutors suspect a breach of public disclosure requirements and market manipulation,” according to RTÉ Business.
Porsche stated that it denies the accusations, and will cooperate with the prosecutors.
