Canada: ASC Charges Strategic Equity Corporation and Exec With Insider Trading

flag_of_canadaThe Alberta Securities Commission alleges that Strategic Equity Corporation and its Director of Business Development, David D. Bulloch, engaged in illegal insider trading of Shift Networks Inc. securities and manipulated the market for Shift Network shares.

ASC staff allege that Strategic Equity and Bulloch were in possession of information not publicly disclosed when they traded Shift Networks shares in February and March 2007.  The ASC seeks various sanctions against Strategic Equity and Bulloch, including trading bans and administrative penalties.
