Canada: IMAX Securities Litigation Produces Landmark Rulings

On Monday, Justice Katherine van Rensburg of the Ontario Superior Court issued landmark rulings in the securities class action against IMAX Corp. The court certified the first securities class action in Canada involving secondary market disclosures, and also certified a global class that will affect investors from other countries.
