Court Grants Summary Judgment for Defendants in Sears Securities Class Action

Securities class actions resolved by a motion for summary judgment are fairly unusual. Last week, however, an opinion was issued in a case against Sears Roebuck and its former CEO that did reach the summary judgment stage.
