Barry Vitou has joined law firm Pinsent Masons as a partner in its London office. The firm announced last week that Vitou has joined its dispute resolution team.
Vitou joins Pinsent Masons from the London office of U.S.-based Winston & Strawn. His practice focuses on managing major cross-border fraud and criminal investigations, with a particular emphasis on reducing corruption risk and the Bribery Act. Vitou is co-author of www.thebriberyact.com, a blog focused on issues related the UK Bribery Act, and appeared as a panelist in Securities Docket’s January 13 webcast entitled, “The Impact of the UK Bribery Act on U.S. Companies.”
