James Wareham and Laura Flippin Join DLA Piper in Washington, DC

James D. Wareham and Laura L. Flippin have joined law firm DLA Piper as partners in its Washington, DC office. The firm announced yesterday that Wareham and Flippin will represent clients in complex litigation matters and regulatory and governmental investigations.

Wareham and Flippin joined DLA Piper from Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, where Wareham served as Global Chair of Litigation. Previously, Flippin was a Special Assistant to the President at the White House, serving as a commissioned officer and handling homeland security matters. She also served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the US Department of Justice.
