Marc B. Minor has been named as the new Chief of the Attorney General’s Investor Protection Bureau in the state of New York. Last week, Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman announced Minor’s appointment to that role in which he will be charged with enforcing New York State securities law.
Minor joins Schneiderman’s office from the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, where he has served as the Bureau of Securities Chief since April 2009. Prior to that, Minor was Senior Counsel for FINRA from 2005-2009.
