Anne Small Joining SEC as Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and Adjudication

Anne K. Small will join the SEC next week as Deputy General Counsel in the SEC’s Office of General Counsel. The SEC announced today that Small will fill the position held by Mark Cahn before he was promoted to General Counsel last month.

Small will serve as Deputy General Counsel for Litigation and Adjudication, and will help oversee enforcement matters, appellate cases, and adjudications. She joins the SEC from the law firm WilmerHale LLP, where she was a partner in the firm’s litigation department in New York.
