Gary Lynch Joins BofA to Head Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Relations

Bank of America Corp. has hired Gary Lynch for a new position overseeing its legal and compliance operations and regulatory relations. Bloomberg reports that Lynch will report directly to CEO Brian T. Moynihan.

From 1985 to 1989, Lynch was the Director of Enforcement for the SEC. Most recently, Lynch was Morgan Stanley’s chief legal officer, from 2005 to 2010.
