A top securities watchdog said his agency should explore bringing more of its enforcement cases in administrative courts, a controversial forum that critics say could deprive defendants of their rights….
“It’s an appealing forum to bring cases, especially some of the cases we’ve been bringing recently, which I think requires sophistication on the part of all the participants,” George Canellos, director of the SEC’s New York regional office, said.
