Four businessmen charged with bribing the defense minister of Gabon jumped at the chance to enter into a corrupt deal to supply military equipment to the country, a federal prosecutor said Tuesday at the opening of a trial that will test the government’s first extensive use of undercover work in a foreign bribery investigation.
