Irving Picard will ‘wind up being richer than’ Bernie Madoff, says attorney for defrauded investors

In Picard’s sixth, and most recent, fee application – for the four-month period ending Jan. 31, 2011 – he requests payment of some $44 million to his law firm, Baker & Hostetler LLP, running his approximate total bill to $180 million. Chaitman asserts in a news release that will accompany her motion that Picard will eventually receive a cut of between 35%-50% of the billing he generates for Baker & Hostetler.
