After Six Votes, Jury Still Undecided In FCPA Sting Case

The jury in the trial of four businessman accused of scheming to bribe the defense minister of Gabon in return for contracts to outfit the country’s presidential guard has voted six times on the charges without reaching a verdict…. U.S. District Judge Richard Leon, who is presiding over the trial in Washington, said in court Wednesday that the jury had asked whether it could convict on some counts but not others, suggesting it was nearing a partial verdict.
