UK: FSA urged to increase pay

The Financial Services Authority, which will split in two at the end of next year, needs to boost salaries by 50 per cent at its successor agencies to attract and retain the staff capable of carrying out tougher, more interventionist regulation, a leading headhunting consultancy has warned.
