Six accused of insider trading in sale of Berens Energy

The Alberta Securities Commission alleges that six people were involved in insider trading in PetroBakken’s purchase of junior oil and gas company Berens Energy almost two years ago. Michael Brian McCue and Donald A.W. Keith, employed by Berens as a geophysicist and a geologist, and James Twanow, employed by PetroBakken as an engineering consultant, are alleged to have told others of material information not publicly disclosed relating to the Berens sale.
