EU Pushing to Impose Common Sentencing Standards for Market Manipulation, Insider Trading

Throughout Europe, countries have widely varying laws governing insider trading, market manipulation and the punishment for such offenses. That may change in the near future, however, as the European Commission is reportedly preparing common sentencing standards to deal with market manipulation and insider trading.
