Tyco International Ltd. said Wednesday that it expected $34 million in losses stemming from a U.S. foreign bribery investigation and violations of German competition law. Authorities in the U.S. have been investigating Tyco for violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Meanwhile, the German Federal Cartel Office charged the company with engaging in anti-competitive practices in 2007.
