Walz’s insider trading bill for Congress hits roadblock

1st District DFL Rep. Tim Walz said he is “baffled” by news that a Republican leader blocked a planned committee vote on his bill to ban insider trading in Congress. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor on Thursday reportedly ordered Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus to cancel next week’s vote because he had not run it by other GOP leaders first….
