A federal judge signaled he will approve a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission settlement of fraud charges against stereo headphone maker Koss Corp, after questioning the accord in light of the agency’s open case against Citigroup Inc. U.S. District Judge Rudolph Randa in Milwaukee had in December challenged the accord, noting the recent rejection by U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff in Manhattan of a $285 million settlement of SEC fraud charges against Citigroup.
