President Proposes Over 1.5 Billion SEC Budget for FY2013, But House Likely to Resist

This week, the White House proposed a FY 2013 budget for the SEC of $1.566 billion, an increase of $245 million above the agency’s FY 2012 appropriation. Whether Congress will approve that is a different story.
