U.S. Attorney’s Office Names Marc Berger New Chief of Securities Fraud Unit

Marc P. Berger, a veteran federal prosecutor in Manhattan, on Wednesday was named to be the new chief of the securities fraud unit for the United States attorney’s office in Manhattan. Mr. Berger had been deputy to Christopher L. Garcia, who left the office to join Weil, Gotshal & Manges, one of the country’s largest corporate law firms.
