Former Hong Kong Civil Aviation Chief Convicted Of Insider Trading

A Hong Kong judge on Monday convicted former civil aviation chief Albert Lam Kwong-yu of insider trading involving a Hong Kong-listed aircraft maintenance company, and handed down a five-month suspended jail sentence as well as a HK50,000 (US6,410) fine.The case marks the latest victory for the city’s securities regulator in its efforts to tackle market misconduct.
