FINRA Warns Investors About Rise of Marijuana Stock Scams – Compliance Week

Medical marijuana is now legal in almost 20 states and has been recently legalized in the states of Washington and Colorado. With legalized marijuana being an estimated $35 billion to $45 billion a year industry, investors are starting to take notice–but so are securities fraudsters, FINRA warns.
