Enforcement 40 for 2013: Therese D. Pritchard

“Terry Pritchard has been a leading SEC enforcement lawyer for over thirty years, and is now the leader of Bryan Cave’s White Collar, Securities Enforcement and Litigation group. Early in her career, in the 1980s, she worked in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement and was part of the team that took on Wall Street in the insider trading scandals of that time.  She was part of the team that successfully pursued Ivan Boesky and set a standard for investigations and excellence for the generations of enforcement staff that followed her.  She also was a trailblazer for women; at a time when there were few women on the SEC’s staff, and fewer still on the enforcement staff, Terry was a powerful role model.  Since that time she has spent more than half her career on the defense side where she has brought the same excellence and skills.”
