Wayne Carlin has consistently demonstrated an impressive mix of legal skills both at the SEC and during his ongoing career in private practice. While with the Commission, Wayne was regional director of the Northeast regional office in New York, including during the events of September 11, 2001. Wayne is credited with keeping the morale of the New York staff as high as possible during the most difficult of times, and helping the NYRO to quickly return to full operation. As a partner with Wachtell, Lipton, Wayne now represents many of the leading investment banks, financial services firms, and Fortune 500 companies in the defense of regulatory, white-collar criminal and complex civil litigation matters.
