Enforcement 40 for 2013: John H. Sturc

John Sturc is co-chair of Gibson Dunn’s Securities Enforcement Practice Group. John served as an Associate Director of the Division of Enforcement of the SEC from 1984 to 1990, where he led the Commission’s investigations of Ivan Boesky, Michael Milken and Drexel Burnham Lambert. Previously, Mr. Sturc was a trial lawyer as the Deputy Chief Litigation Counsel of the Division of Enforcement and as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C.  Mr. Sturc’s areas of expertise include securities and financial institution enforcement investigations, securities law compliance, internal investigations, and civil and criminal litigation.
