U.K. Targets ‘Cozy’ Ties Between Companies, Auditors – WSJ

U.K. companies were ordered to put their audits out to tender every 10 years and give shareholders a vote on their accounting reports, in an effort by competition authorities to sever the cozy ties between some companies and their auditors.
