Dixie L. Johnson and William F. Johnson have joined law firm King & Spalding as partners in the firm’s Washington, D.C. and New York offices, respectively. The firm announced today that Johnson and Johnson will join King & Spalding’s government investigations and special matters practice. Both lawyers join K&S from Fried Frank.
Dixie Johnson is among the most prominent SEC enforcement defense practitioners in the country. In October 2013, she was named to Securities Docket’s Enforcement 40, our list of the 40 best and brightest securities enforcement defense lawyers.
Bill Johnson previously served a combined 17 years with the SEC’s Division of Enforcement and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, including four years as Chief and Deputy Chief of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force.
