Valentines Day Quarrel: SEC Union Fights for Right to Receive Flowers at Work – Compliance Week

As I have noted here before, attorneys in the SEC are actually part of a union–National Treasury Employees Union Chapter 293. When I last checked in on the goings-on at Chapter 293, it was on red alert about theoretical time limits being placed on SEC employee lunch breaks that the agency did not seem to be actually imposing or really even care about. The latest dust-up at Chapter 293, which has appropriately surfaced on Valentines Day, concerns the rights of SEC employees to receive flowers at work.
