Carmen Lawrence Joins King & Spalding in New York

By Securities Docket on March 7, 2014, 1:50 pm

Carmen J. Lawrence has joined law firm King & Spalding as a partner in its New York office. The firm announced today that Lawrence will join the firm’s special matters and government investigations practice.

Lawrence joins King & Spalding from Fried Frank, where she was co-head of securities enforcement and white-collar criminal defense. Previously, Lawrence served for nearly 20 years in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement and served as director of the agency’s Northeast regional office in New York.

In October 2013, Lawrence was named to Securities Docket’s Enforcement 40, our list of the 40 best and brightest securities enforcement defense lawyers.
