Tim Belevetz has joined Holland & Knight as a partner in its Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia offices. The firm announced yesterday that Belevetz has joined its National White Collar Defense and Investigations and Securities Litigation teams.
Belevetz joins Holland & Knight after 12 years at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served both in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia and at the Tax Division. In the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Belevetz most recently served as chief of the Financial Crimes & Public Corruption Unit.
Belevetz also previously served for five years in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement.
