SEC’s Ceresney Expects Agency to Bring More Insider Trading Cases as APs – Compliance Week

This week, SEC Director of Enforcement Andrew Ceresney stated that although it has historically been rare for the SEC to file insider trading cases as administrative proceedings, he believes there will be more going forward. The defense bar has long argued that APs provide the agency with a distinct “home court” advantage.
