Congressional Delegations Urge SEC to Appeal SIPC Case to U.S. Supreme Court | Compliance Week

Numerous members of Congress are now urging the SEC to appeal a July 18, 2014 decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in the SEC’s lawsuit against SIPC. The case concerns whether approximately 7,000 investors harmed in the Stanford Financial Ponzi scheme can recover rom SIPC.
