By Securities Docket on December 4, 2014, 11:23 am

Eugene Ingoglia has joined law firm Morvillo LLP as a partner in the firm’s New York office. The firm announced yesterday that Ingoglia has joined its White Collar Defense practice group.

Ingoglia joins Morvillo LLP from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, where he served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. Ingoglia served as an AUSA since 2005 and as a member of the SDNY’s Securities and Commodities Fraud Unit since 2010. Among other matters, Ingoglia prosecuted the insider trading case against former SAC Capital portfolio manager Matthew Martoma, as well as the case against two JP Morgan Chase executives for their participation in derivatives trading activities involving the “London Whale.”
